The debut of Connections was excellent.
Short, ferocious rock music. Pure and raw and bold. I was at times reminded of Guided By Voices, early Modest Mouse, and the Stooges. “1980 Called” might be the catchiest song in town. They’re playing tonight at Bourbon Street and tomorrow at Double Happiness. You need to see this band.
